The Seagull Foundation for the Arts held a photography exhibition ‘War and Forgiveness’ that documented the photographer, Ryan Lobo’s journey through war-torn regions of Afghanistan, Iraq and Liberia. The exhibition opened on 22nd July at The Seagull Foundation for the Arts.
As a part of the event, Seagull organized a walk-through of the exhibition which not only essayed war torn regions, but more importantly also talked about the role of forgiveness in these regions. This was followed by an inter-school quiz on the topic of ‘War‘ in the regions of Afghanistan, Iraq and Liberia. Around 35 students from 9th and 10th grade participated in this event. Several schools were invited on separate days during the course of the exhibition, and the school with the highest scores in the quiz was awarded a PeaceWorks ‘War and Forgiveness’ trophy.
