Hans Blumenberg was a German philospher and intellectual historian. He was a member of the Senate of the German Research Foundation, a professor at several universities in Germany and a co-founder of the research group 'Poetics and Hermeneutics'.

 

Kári Driscoll is the recipient of the 2011 Gutekunst Prize for Young Translators. He lives in Utrecht.
