Shubha Chaudhuri is director of the Archives and Research Centre for Ethnomusicology at the American Institute of Indian Studies, New Delhi.

 

Anthony Seeger is professor of ethnomusicology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Seeger served as director of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings at the Smithsonian Institution from 1988 to 2000 and was executive producer of all recordings issued on the Smithsonian Folkways label during that time.
